Yes, we specialise in no-dig root removal. In the past, the only way to fix root ingress was to excavate the entire pipe. At APJ Drainage, we use high-torque mechanical root-cutting heads and high-pressure water jetting. These tools enter the system through existing manholes or inspection chambers. We precisely mill the roots back to the pipe wall, restoring the full bore of the drain without disturbing your lawn, patio, or driveway. It is a faster, cleaner, and significantly cheaper alternative to traditional trenching.

If you only cut the roots and leave the pipe as it is, they will almost certainly return. Roots follow the moisture trail back through the same entry point. To stop this, we recommend a structural resin patch repair or a full ambient-cure liner once the roots are cleared. This "no-dig" relining creates a new, seamless pipe-within-a-pipe that has no joints for roots to penetrate. By sealing the entry point with a permanent structural barrier, we eliminate the need for recurring call-outs.

Once a pipe has physically collapsed, no-dig relining is no longer an option, and we would have to excavate to replace the section. Catching root ingress early with a CCTV survey is the best way to avoid these high-cost repairs.
